I completely understand the amount of responsibility that comes with being accountable for the well-being of animals and am committed to ensuring they are always in safe, loving and caring hands. Quality over quantity, always!
It was always very clear right from the get-go that my life would revolve around animals in one way or another... Whether it was my love for every single Disney movie that showcased a talking creature (101 Dalmatians, Fox and the Hound, Bambi, etc.) to my expansive collection of stuffed animals that I would spend every single penny that I ever earned on.

If I wasn't bringing stray animals home or rescuing some sort of critter (bugs, frogs, birds, etc.) then I was likely tending to my own menagerie of companion animals! Regardless, there was no doubt in my mind that these special creatures were going to play a part in my livelihood.

How it started vs. how it's going
2003
BEGAN MY FIRST DOG WALKING "BUSINESS" FOR $2 / WALK!
After hand-crafting some flyers using my collection of animal stickers, I became our neighbourhood's dog walker. The ultimate throwback IMO!
2019
WORKING WITH ANIMALS BECAME MY FULL-TIME JOB!
It started out on a "pet" care app & the rest is history - I was hooked! I got both feet in the door of the animal care industry & haven't looked back.
1998
WELCOMED OUR VERY FIRST DOG INTO THE FAMILY - JENNA!
This is where it all began to say the very least. Jenna was my first ever soul pup & is the reason behind what I do today! Rest in paradise sweet girl.
2011
STARTED TO VOLUNTEER WITH ANIMAL RESCUES & SHELTERS!
In High School we had to volunteer somewhere in our small town to get extra credit. Cue Cause For Critters & the blossoming of my experience!
2024
ANIMAL AVENUE WAS FINALLY LAUNCHED TO THE WORLD!
A *true* work in progress to say the least, but alas - here we are! I am so so so fortunate to be able to do what I absolutely love & adore every day...
